This is the size knife that I carry in the woods with me; even when I am hunting whitetail. It is easy to carry and will do a fine job of field dressing.

Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated in my Evenheat furnace to Rc 58-60 with three normalizing and two tempering cycles with attention to a fine grain throughout the blade.
Flat grind with a distal taper tang
Stabilized and dyed maple handle with a carbon fiber spacer
Overall length: 7 1/4 inches
Blade: 3 1/8 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry

That is one no nonsense, useful looking hunting knife.
I will just make one more comment, this Man does a really good job with his heat treat.
I have 2 of his knives I got on the exchange and they sharpen easily to a truly "zinging" edge.
