Stock removal from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind with a cork belt finish
Stabilized spalted and curly maple handle
Overall length: 7 1/2 inches
Blade: 3 1/4 inches
The handle at 4 1/4 inches fits my average size hand nicely but probably not right for a very large hand so I compensated this by forming a wide palm swell in the scales. This is a compact pattern but I will make this with a slightly longer handle in the future.
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
