This is a new design for me so I would appreciate any comments, good or bad, on this one.

Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind with a cork belt finish
Stabilized spalted maple handle with black micarta spacers
Distal tapered full tang
Overall length is 9 inches with a 4 1/4 inch blade
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry

I really like it a lot. It's a very practical size and very usable. The spalted maple is great looking without being ornate. The harpoon styling just gives it interest and class.

I forged to about 1/4 inch at the choil which cleaned up to about 3/16 inch.
