Bill,

That's just beyond belief. Great blade shape, neat temper line, and a handle treatment for museum exhibition!

Beautiful my friend....very surprised that came back home with you.

Wow. Beautiful knife. Really like the way this flows and especially like the artifact handle.

Great blade and symmetry. Wonderful color and excellent use of an artifact collectable on its own. What did you use to fill the hollows/open spaces in the harpoon head? It all blends together really well in sort of a "refined rustic" way. Nice work!

a trifecta of awesome blades this morning!
I love this one too!
the mokume insert is a very interesting element of a very interesting knife:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Wow Bill. An impressive display of creativity and execution. That all works so well together. Awesome knife.

I like that you tied the harpoon tip on the blade into the artifact harpoon tip ivory.

Love everything about this. The mokume really sets the handle off but in the sort of subtle way that doesn't scream bling.
Great work.

The combination of a very clean knife with the baleen wrap tying into the harpoon tip handle makes for a dramatic story. The polished, highly finished parts next to the organic and slightly chaotic wrap treatment is visual treat.

Thanks everyone for you kind comments. This knife did sale at the abs show. I just got the pictures from point seven so thought I would post it.

Stunning, i'm big fan of hamon..
This knife is one of the best knife i have seen. Handle, hamon all perfectly matched
