Harpoon point hunter

Outstanding knife Bill. Nicely photographed also. Certainly one I would enjoy looking at all the time. You keep adding wonderful knives to your lineup over the years and I'm certainly glad you posted this one.

Not just a treat for the eyes but also for the imagination. And of course the craftsmanship is superb.

A small question to you and others on here. What is/constitutes an artifact handle? Thanks.
 
thanks guys this was fun to build after I finally figured out what to do. I got the ivory tip years ago thinking that it would be a perfect handle. But it took years before I made a blade that I really liked when paired with it.


I believe the accepted definition of an artifact is something that early man used as some kind of tool or implement, ie.. sled runner, fire starter, ice ax or in this case Harpoon point.
