This is probably my favorite design; easy to make, light to carry but very functional and properly heat treated for fine edge holding.
Mostly stock removal from 1/8 inch 52100 high carbon steel with some tweaking at the forge
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with three normalizing and two tempering cycles to Rc 58-60
Flat grind with forged texture on the flats
Stabilized and dyed curly maple handle sanded to 220 grit for grip
Overall length: 7 1/2 inches
Blade: 3 1/2 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
