Hello Folks, Just completed this rather cool harpoon style hunter. I love this style so have to build one now and then to satisfy the itch. Hope you like it and of course comments are always welcome and appreciated. It is finely finished but made to be used.
Blade is CPM 154 .197 thick and 4.55 tip to guard. O/A is 9.4. Heat treated with cryo quench and double tempered to 60- 61 RC. I polish the blade and hand finish with 2000 grit. The tang is carefully tapered with the center hollow ground to give the epoxy a place to stay. liners and scales fit nice and tight to tang.
Guard is 416 stainless solder fillet is very nicely done with no pin holes.
Handle is Black G10 with royal blue G10 liners. Corby rivets are stainless. Lanyard is brass.
Sheath is hand tooled and hand stitched 8-9 ounce Herman Oak leather.
Asking (sold) shipped in the USA. My paypal is warrencustomknives@yahoo.com Thank you all for looking. Alan
