Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 60 with attention to a fine grain structure
Flat grind
Distal tapered tang. Even though steel has been removed from the tang the knive balances slightly to the handle and the profile is such that the knife sits in the hand with the blade down, ready for use.
Stabilized figured maple handle with black Micarta spacers
