Harris 1A2 Ultralight Bi-pod

I am the owner of a Harris engineering Ultralight Bipod the model number is 1A2. It is marked on the mounting plate. I do not have the plastic bag it came it . It is auto retractable. Was used once. Or what are the height adjustments? Also can I mount it straight to my rail or do I need to buy another mounting attachment?

It the same model Without the notches. It mounts right to the rails no attachment needed. I had it mounted to my pic rail.
