I'm in!

There is no way I am passing up the opportunity for a Hartshead Barlow! I'll always be sad that I missed a chance to buy one when they were being made. Such a truly unique and special knife.

How can one pick a favorite knife? I was tempted to use a picture of my 2019 Guardians Lambsfoot, but ultimately, the knife that my daughter Abby dubbed "Daddy's Special Knife Made Out Of Wood" (when she was 2.5 or so) has to take that spot. Here is my 2015 Forum Knife (with Merle when he stopped by to visit).

My apologies for not commenting on this generous giveaway before, just an oversight on my part - I thought I had done! :D Thank you to Steve draggat draggat , and good luck to everyone, I hope the winner will enjoy using their Hartshead Barlow as much as I enjoy mine. I'm proud of all the Sheffield SFOs I did a few years ago, but this knife has won my heart, and my pocket, and I struggle not to carry it every single day. If you've not used a Lambsfoot blade before, I think you'll find it useful, and I hope you'll come and join us in the Guardians of the Lambsfoot thread

Yes Duncan, I sacrificed a couple of good waistcoats for those slips! :D It is vintage Yorkshire cloth, of the highest grade, from a mill which closed many years ago, and a friend's wife made it into slips for me

Wow draggat draggat this is an amazingly generous GAW! Thank you for doing this. I enjoy seeing Jack Black Jack Black post pics of of these several times a week. I'm in, but for JTB_5 JTB_5 - he had two unfortunate misses with one of these, so I'm going to double down with JonMcD JonMcD and give him two chances this time.

Here's my favorite and most-carried knife, my reliable GEC 97

I'm in!!

Picking my favorite knife is a tough one!! So many favorites for different purposes and reasons!! Tough choice!! One of these three a 46, a 36 and an 86 all get a lot of pocket time.

Posing with a smoked turkey from this Easter Sunday...

If I had to pick just one..it might be the 36...maybe.

I'm in! Thanks for running such a generous giveaway. Below is a picture of my favorite knife. The 93 is a very useful pattern, I haven't had the chance to give a lambsfoot a try but it has all the attributes that I love about the ramsfoot but maybe more practical.

If I win the biggest challenge would be deciding if I should keep such a rare special knife as a safe queen or put it right in the pocket. The lambsfoot does seem to beg to be put to use with how practical the design is.
