About a month ago Rick (Magnussen) announced that he was just featured in a magazine. Some time before that Kevin (KEstela) told us that he was filmed for a T.V. show that should air some time this summer.

Then - soon after that - they essentially disappeared from WSS. No posts, no 'Hey what's up guys?', no love, no nothing!

I called Rick on his cell to see how he has been, he answered, told me he thought I was his agent, rushed to get me off the phone, and said 'Call me soon babe - we will do lunch!' He actually said that '...his people would contact my people'. I am not sure what this means. I do not have 'people'.

I talked to another forumite (to remain nameless) that said they recently saw Kevin in some recent photo's in the bush with very expensive aviator sunglasses drinking pine needle tea with his PINKIE extended!

Has anyone else noticed that since these two have gotten a little press - they are TOO GOOD for us?!

Should we perform an intervention?

I think he means the "people" on your Friends list. If his people contact me, I'm not answering. He's a grumpy looking individual and I'm afraid of him

When I spoke to him, he told me he would fax me lunch! I asked what was on the menu and he said that his personal chef was preparing a lovely salad made from fresh arugula and lightly steamed beet greens. I told him that it sounded like something you would feed to the chickens, he said that his "make-up artist" told him it was good for his complexion. He brushed me off too and told me that he had to go to a final fitting for his "woodland's togs."

Say it ain't so. Rick's gone Hollywood.
 
Well I still see Rick around some, but once the ecconomy picks up and the money really starts rolling in who knows...... A few of us are still lucky enough to chat with the legend on Tuesday and Sunday nights!:)

i do think it's a little odd, that all 3 of our moderators are rarely here....

When I PMed Magnussen about getting a list of the 10 essentials, this is what I got back.

I'm trying to think of something clever to say in response. Can't think of anything. To avoid hijacking this thread, I think it's awesome that these guys (Rick and Kevin) are getting recognized for their efforts, even if they are too good for us lowlifes now.

Right around the time I posted about the History Channel my track and field season started up again. We're working on our 3rd conference title and another championship. I can't get on the forums as much since I'm dead tired by the end of the day. Coaching is pretty consuming and I'm a victim of it!

By the way, I'm still the same old guy that ignarts and acts like the above posted pictures show. Yes I have a big head but it is literal not figurative. 24" around, no joke.

He he he...... I haven't been on much these days lots of stuff going on.... you know, with that Vegas show comming up and all..... Wayne Newton won't stop calling me. Well, I have a breast implant scheduled for tomorrow so I'd better get this Geisha massage over with and get to bed.....
