This is not a khuk, but I've been thinking a simple guard like this would suit many needs very well. And look great too.

Pretty similar to the Bowie just above really.

That kind of guard makes the most sense to me, N2S....but is not necessarily the most practical.

I haven't seen anything in this thread, though, that I didn't like!
