Has anyone Hard Used/Abused their ZT 0560 yet?

I've carried mine on duty a couple of times.

The first night was just to show it off but then I had to pry open a door.
Thought for a second it might've broke but no.

A few scratches but still working fine.

My ZT301 has been through hell.

I even opened up a drain cover on the side of the street once. I used the blade to get the 80lb plus grate up.
Scratched the blade but it still works.

This sort of stuff is why I keep coming back to getting the 300. I fully expect to one day hear that someone shot their 300 from a cannon at a brick wall, picked it up, and it still had no blade play.

The 0301 is my go-to knife. When I don't have a fixed blade, it will suffice.

Im currently editing a video and will upload overnight.

Stabbed some 1 year old white oak wood probably over 50 times. Including stabs at a wood knot.
As a bonus I also stabbed a Thinkpad T60 palmrest.

Knife suffered one super minor nick, and maybe .05mm tip loss if that. Pretty much nothing.

About the hardest thing ive used my 0560 for is to trim some fiberglass car bumper that was all mangled. cut through it like a hot knife through butter!

Used mine this evening to fix the tail on my daughter's toy horse that had come out. Yeah, I'm one of those true hard guys you only read about.... Hahaha!

Regarding sharpening, I can freehand pretty well on a diamond stone if I need to reprofile, but if you want something to keep it razor sharp easily... get the Spyderco SharpMaker and a strop. Learn to strop and your knives will stay much sharper for much longer.

I just got my 560 and last night I dropped it from about chest level onto the ceramic tile floor in the kitchen. It put a little bit of a roll/burr on the blade, right at the belly. I stropped it out for a few minutes, then ran it through the sharpmaker, then back through the strop... and it's sharper than it was before. Not hair shaving, but hair popping. Took me maybe 10 min or so.
