Has anyone made a beer keg into a vertical forge?

Hi Guys,
My neighbour gave me a 40yr old beer keg and I was thinking of making it into a vertical forge.
Does anyone have a picture of one they made up. It is a heavy stainless steel keg and I am just starting the planning stage.

I've helped empty quite a few of them, but was usually to out of it to try and make any thing out of one.:D:D:D

That is a Good Idea too!!! Mine is to small an over heats to quickly.
That will be the back up plan!!!

I have built a beer keg vertical forge for a friend. Works great! It is a pretty large interior though and used a false bottom to shrink the interior size. Used 2" lining. The size is perfect for large damascus billets. Need to use a good forced air burner to get the sucker rolling. Used residential pressure natural gas with a 120 cfm blower and all is good. 2300F degrees in about 20 minutes. I am thinking about making an oval chamber vertical forge for large damascus billets but will be stainless steel sheet metal instead of a pre formed cylinder. With proper insulation the outside wall can be pretty thin.
 
I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work as long as the interior dimensions end up being a size you can live with. You can always make the interior smaller by adding more insulation.
