Has anyone read this book?

It's titled "SURVIVAL-How to Prevail in Hostile Environments" by Xavier Maniguet.

As a matter of fact I have. It was written from the European perspective, and covers many areas of use world wide. He is a big proponent of taking care against heat loss and raps that point about every chapter in one form or another. It reads like a text book (I guess it could be used as one) and, my copy at least, was a little dated. I buy just about everything I can find on the subject and I got mine in the discount rack at Barnes and Noble.

I've read it as well, it's a pretty good book, no earth shattering revelations, but well researched and thorough. I certainly don't regret buying it.
