Hi

I'd like to buy a custom anodized knife from JD cutlery, but he doesn't respond to mails and calls, despite me trying to call or email him during his open hours.

Has anyone purchased a knife from him recently?

Does anyone here know him personally, is he going through a hard stage of life?

Why don’t ya call? Website gives hours for 7 days a week?

All of the knives are Production Models and this is a Custom Knife Forum....

Sorry for the wrong forum; I've tried calling and he doesn't pick up, that's why I'm asking here.

I've heard nothing but great things about Jeff Perkins. I bought a Reate Wave from an individual who had purchased it from him. The knife's backspacer wasn't perfectly machined, so it would rattle a bit when installed. Contacted Jeff and asked if he would take a look at it, since it was originally sold by him. Sent the knife to him and it was returned with no rattle. I would work with him again anytime. Hope this helps.

The problem isn't that I don't trust him. His website seems live, but I can't get a hold of him.

I don't know JD but I have heard good things about his work. I can tell you as a small dealer it can get over whelming trying to deal with the massive number of places you have to reply to now a days. We have messages on all the forums we are on, facebook, instagram, through our website, through our newsletter portal, emails, text and voicemails. I personally am best at making sure emails and voicemails are responded to first. If you are calling JD or any dealer, please leave a voicemail. Calling and hanging up on voicemail does nothing. He also could be on vacation or sick so hopefully he will get back to you soon! Good Luck!
