There it is. Is there a way to remove an eccentric pivot? Right now, I have one that is awfully stuck. I've read that it is press fit, but was wondering if there is an easy way before I go wrenching on it.
I backed out the screw about two turns and tapped the screw head with a plastic faced hammer. That drove the pin out enough to loosen it up. My usual caveat applies here. If you have to ask how, I don't recommend trying it.

Yeah, I got to that point. I guess my question should have been, "can the eccentric pivot come out?" I just wanted to make sure it is, in fact, designed to back out completely before I attempt to do so. Thanks Yab:thumbup:
The pivot T-nut has a faceted shoulder under the head. Mark the head with a Sharpie so you try different positions to get the best fit between your blade and the lock/leaf spring. As I recall, there are about eight different positions you put the head in which increase or decrease the distance from the blade to the end of the spring. PM me if you get stuck.
You posted while I was typing. The pivot is removable. Be sure that when you replace the pivot that the facets on the pivot are aligned with the facets in the hole.
