Has anyone removed their wave?

After some consideration I removed a bit more.
I used the same angle as the handle for aesthetics and now I can use that forward ramp for thumb leverage and it fits more comfortably than the upper jimping.
Sometimes things just work out well.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Just for the heck of it, I looked up a Gentleman Jim with the wave $244.00. When I made the purchase I had some cash and I thought that was costly for a knife with a liner lock. I kept it in my safe because I paid quite a bit IMO. Now I look and see that the price is even higher than when I purchased it in 2014. I was carrying a cold steel 4 inch and one day noticed the Gentle Jim in the safe and put it in my pocket and very easily pulled and the blade snapped open, faster than an auto. From that day I carried the Gentleman Jim in my left pocket, up tight to the front and it snaps open every time. I love the wave, if you can get used to it there is nothing like it. Now lets talk about the blades steel it's good for sh**. I cut open a box and it needs to be sharpened, I get it to shave the hair on my arm and after one use I can run my finger down the blade and not get cut. I should have purchased a Buck YES cheaper but could have bought 4 of them along with thumb studs and it's a might slower but also works every time and with all the new steel, I wouldn't have the problems with keeping it sharp.
