The only folder close to an SR-1 is the Scott Lochsa for about three times the price. I think the SR-1 has better features, though !!

I like the one piece construction and the replaceable lock bar is a nice touch. All in all a very nifty folder with a lot of nice features. I would also vote for just saving up a your pennies and getting the SR-1 and be satisfied.

This is a lion steel sr-1. The problem is that it is just too expensive (390 dollars U.S.A.) and I really wish it was s30v or vg-10 or something more stain resistant than a d2 derivative.
?

I haven't had experience with D2 but I've heard nothing but good things about it performance wise while having decent stain resistance. I wouldn't let that stop you from buying the knife.
