Has anyone seen this on their umnanzaan?

Is the stjd the same length on the other side?. Maybe not pressed in all the way. Take a pic square on perhaps.
Pic taken straight from the top, looks equal lenghth on both side. And lock up at the same place on both side.

The small cut, again circled in red.

I have a Large from 2012, as a matter of fact, 2. Both Damascus. Guesssss what!!

They both have it! My only other large is from 2016 also Damascus, nothing there. Everything else I have is a 25, or a small. My small is not here to check.
Some pictures please😆

I have a crappy iphone 5. I can't get pics, but they are visible on the 1-2 o'clock position.

I'm not at all surprised at this. The thumb studs and stop pin are interference fit. IIRC the Sebenza thumb stud hole uses a Go/No-Go gauge @ .155" & .157" so 2 thousands of an inch difference. They would probably prefer to have a little give in the thumb stud itself to prevent splitting blades.

Does anyone else think that it looks llike the lug has somewhat pulled out of the blade? Notice the shiny ring around the circumference of the lug. If the ring were flush with the blade, the indentation would not be visible.

IMO the pin is slightly offset to the left, but not enough to hide that indentation. It's hard to tell with the way the lens works. Need to see it with the eye.

That "shiny ring" part is visible on the other (right) side as well..

If I may, and due to late night boredom, I'd like to present Exhibit "B". In the provided photo, the lug on the left side appears to protrude further out than the opposite side.

Ha ha😆 I hope you are not trolling me here, but I expected this. Taking photos (hand held with a cellphone) of a relatively small object like a knife, even the slightest movement will greatly affect the perspectives of the subject, so I took a ruler to it... It measured the same 6mm (from tip of the dome to the base)on both side. Then again the difference might be too small to measure with a common ruler.

Maybe someone went a little overboard with the relief cut on mine and left a larger than necessary mark on it. (maybe Chris himself did it! That'll just be awesome 😆

Trolling you? No, dear, just found this interesting. Good luck with whatever.
