Has anyone seen this type of keen kutter hatchet before?

@hickorynsteel yeah I totally agree, my intent of posting this wasn't to bash or accuse the seller of anything, more so just to determine whether it was a genuine design made that way or if it was modified because I really like the design and if it were an original design I would try and find another one. It appears that one has sold but I normally wouldn't pay that much for an original axe never mind a modded on I could make myself using a cheap flea market find.

. . . Basically just curious if anyone has ever seen a keen kutter or any kind of axe in this shape before.
Closest I've seen:

That's awesome, so it looks like the guy didn't make it. Either they exist just as they are or it had a broken claw so he removed them.
I wasn't sure ,but for some reason the bevels seemed familiar. When I didn't see anything like it I figured that I may have just seen the auction listing before.
There's obviously a very factory look to this hatchet and I figured the modification if at all couldn't have been too terribly extensive.
Honestly if I was rich I probably would've paid whatever it took because that hatchet just looks so awesome.

@rjdankert thank you for posting that, I'd say that's definitely what this one came from, everything is basically exactly the same except the claw part but as @hickory said it very likely could have broken off or just been take off. And @hickory you're right, it does look very much like it was factory made, unless someone was a very skilled metalworker it would be difficult to get it looking as good as it does. It's one thing to cut a beard into a hatchet like you see on eBay occasionally but cutting the bevels into the steel at the same angle and depth and having the surface of the cut look exactly the same as the rest of the head is no easy task. I guess my search now continues for another of these, not sure I would remove the claw if I found one as its how it originally came and I don't really have the tools to do that properly but I would definitely consider it if I eventually did, that's one nice looking hatchet.

I found these two past sales on eBay and they look fairly similar but it's not the one used in my original post, so either it was modded a bit or keen kutter made multiple different designs of this model which is definitely a possibility.

Actually now that I compare them side by side to the original the one I just posted that doesn't show the logo is basically the same as the one in question, that was the only close up of the head on the listing so unfortunately the logo isn't in that picture but I went back and looked and the logo on that particular axe is much bigger than the one in question, but it seems we've at least identified the origin of the shape of it.

Very interesting, maybe the same vintage as the tommy axe. Could be tommy axes competition
I agree with the others, I like the look

The term With Claw from the advert makes me think that these were possible made both with and without the claw similar to the Tommy Axe.
