Has anyone used 1075

I've been playing with some today. Carbon is 0.7-0.8 and hardens to +- R55.

Without tempering it has a good amount of flex and seems to hold an edge well without chipping.

Interesting stuff. I'm going to try a test blade and see how it does.

Thanks Chuck. I don't think it will ever overthrow the king of steel....but...I got a few hundred pounds free! and it looks like it will make a good knife.
