Is this stuff worth the $20 minimum order or should I go with stencils from marking methods or somewhere else. I like the idea of being able to make my own stencils 1 at a time for different sizes and locations on knives but I'm unsure of the quality.

I bought some and did not like then. Not super easy to iron them onto the blade so it basically just pissed me off.:) I have alot of those sheets left if you want to try them. Shoot me and email with your address and I will send you a couple sheets to try out.

I got some stencils from lectroetch and they work great, much less frustraiting too.

This got me thinking...

Some may recall the Lettraset transfer lettering from the age before computers, when graphic artists had to lay out their productions with ruler and knife. As you might imagine, that stuff has little use now - but I wonder if it'd work as a resist? I'm thinking you'd apply the lettering to the blade, mask off the perimiter, and etch away. Naturally this would be one-offs only.

Any comments? I still have a bunch of that stuff stashed somewhere...
