I wasn't worried and I was laughing my can off. :) My little 3/16" x 3" Micsh steel I got yesterday got quite the work out last night and it just laughed at me. Betting your's would take a ton of scrapping to use up seeing as it's thicker and all. Wish I wasn't broke right now cause I'd buy a few.

If anyone gives you crap about how much and don't buy it cause you can't give them an aproximate in the thousands of strikes, it's there lose and more for us. :D

Tangents? When Bill Martino (US manager of HI) was still alive he'd say a tangent had something to do with Khukuris so it's all good. ;)

Oh yeah, if someone does end up needing to replace the Micsch rod I'd love to hear about it.

Out of curiousity, what is the diameter of a RAT firesteel? 1/2, 3/8, 1,4? Call it my sick need to know. Thanks!

Yes but you have to check with the girl at the bar first and retreive Jeff''s flashlight that she took away from him.:)
 
Wildmanh , yes I've used them Izula with Ron's Firesteel(their Great TOO) I use the strike all the time but tried it it worked well on the back of the tang.
