Has Busse ever made a fighting dagger?

I was just wondering if there has ever been an INFI v-42 or Fairbairn-Sykess-like knife made, except full tang, of course. I think this is what I need in my life.

I seem to remember seeing something along those lines a while back, but one of the older hogs will have to give you the details (if there are any).

Drew should be along any moment now with a picture, date of make, and a personal story of how it came to be. That's one of the Busse LoreMasters there.

He should be called "IndiePig" and PapaThud should be "HamDalf.":D

I have never seen a double edge all the way to the handle INFI blade.....maybe a Ganza knife???

One of those guys in Idaho has one that is a DE dagger. I'm sure he'll be along shortly to post pics of it.

:D:D

Jerry made this (scroll down to post 10) and said the quadruple grinds were a pain so don't expect to see any soon, and if you do expect to be fighting me for them.:D

I believe tinbasher made a few boot daggers from Busse A-2 blanks,,,, small blade,,,,,, not a serious fighter

That is the definition of Grail knife right there.

Who knows maybe in some vicious hangover induced mood Jerry could have a few of these made by staff that have upset him, either that or he could be testing out how good the new guys are. Either way that's the only way I can see this knife resurfacing.

Yeah, 9/26/05 was a HOG DAY for Stinky! I wish I could have gone for it. What a great piece of Busse history.
I believe there was also a leather sheath, but I don't know if that was original to the blade.

Of course there were the Pure Bred Fighters, too. i'm really happy with my 4 and 8 inch models. Still need a 6 inch PBF some day.

I would love to have an INFI stelleto fighter. But I have to "settle" for the RMK 2-8 for the time being
