Yup I guess it has been a long week. I have been commuting from Chattanooga to my job in Bastidville (Atlanta.)
Tell ya what though, I have learned something after spending a week earlier in the month in the hospital in a spinal and head injury ward and a couple of weeks in a therapy clinic where my mom is recovering from surgery that has given her back the use of her legs after she lost that ability about 2 months ago.
That thing is that every day you can take care of yourself and I mean basic stuff like dressing, feeding, doing the things most of us take for granted is a GREAT DAY!
So many of those folks in that ward and in the therapy facility have had these things taken from them for one reason or another without hope of full recovery. Many of them are in the youth and prime of their lives.
