Not trying to stir up trouble, but I am new here and have been offering stuff in the trade forums. Many people have shown interest in my knives and email me saying something in this avenue, "I'm interested in that and I have this to offer. Let me know if you want to see pics." When I request to see pics then I don't hear from them again or see any pics. I hope I'm not being an ass, but it would be nice if they emailed me to let me know that they have changed their mind. It's getting kind of frustrating. Do I have to wait for their responses in order to trade to someone else, even though it's been almost five days? Does anyone else have this issue or have been in this situation? I just need some advice as to how I can work around this without getting a bad rep in the trade forums. I have already tried posting another thread separating the knives a little between threads. Thanks, Dylan.

I don't know what Rob said......... But, my advice would be that if you don't hear back anything from them in a reasonable time.... YOU decide what that is.... ...... go ahead and make a deal with whomever "steps up to the plate" first.
In other words..... don't wait around on someone who is just screwing around with you ..... :)

I've not traded anything here, and have only sold two knives, but IMHO, there's not a deal until you both say that you want the other's knife. Asking to see the pics of someone's offered knife is by no means accepting a trade.

Foxhole's right. If someone asks a question online or by PM or email, answer as best you can and go on with your sale. If someone says, "I might be interested" and someone else says "I'll take it" then go for the sale, never mind the one who can't make up his mind. You aren't being impolite, only doing what we all do: First "I'll Take It" Gets It.

Thigs can get hectic for some people as well. It is perfectly reasonable to drop a note or PM saying, I have not heard back, are you still interested.
Communications is and has been the key.

Ultimately, you decide when to move forward. I have delayed to hear from others in some cases and gone forward in others.

All that said, I hope it wans't me, lol.
