PhilL, your earlier post about GUNNER's favorite singer was downright not nice and plain wrong.

You're right maybe I can explain. OK, hear it is, I'm old an I get cranky sometimes, some see me as a wiseass, I can understand that, but I feel it beats the alternative. My life has been a little hard recently being out of work and all, and with all this studying for an upcoming drug test (for a new job), well I hope you can see and understand what I've been going thru. I hope you GUNNER and all can find it in your hearts to forgive me, If not, why don't you all just mange moi!

hey Phil is that a serious offer to manger moi? If so I am there. Just Kiddin.

Gunner,
You could alleviate this problem by picking one name and sticking to it. Having to make up new names for yourself suggests certain things to people. Among them- immaturity, anonomynity, inpropriety and a few other ty's that I can't think of right now. The outdoor (knife/gun/survival) cyber community is pretty small. I lurk and post on a number of other boards and I always use the same name. I see a lot of people from here on other boards who use the same name also. Marion David Poff, Shrike9, Jim Six, Cliff Stamp, etc... I would suggest you pick one of your names and stick with it. Besides the added respect you will get, it's always nice to see a familiar name on the other boards.

Take care
Jim

Hi Gunner, I agree with the above post, use one name might lessen some of the problems? I was new to the internet when coming on and on one I'm Blades3 but after I figured out that just using my real name is much easier and it tells others who you are and makes remembering you a lot better. You might want to sign up again under a new name, your name?

Just a suggestion.

And Hermanknives, why don't you let Gunner take the Sliver and test it and THEN if it passes he can option to buy it from you price or return it as a TESTED knife?

Yeah Tim, I think Gary has a great idea. Just send the knife to Gunner and let him use it for a little while. Since it is obviously one the greatest works of cutlery art ever produced, it ought to be able to withstand any concievable challenge that Gunner may put it too. And if he doesn't think of enough different ways to show up the faults in your knifemaking skills (are there any?), you could always send the knife to Cliff Stamp afterwards for a properly documented breaking.
