For computer dummies like me - unless you know what you're doing don't mess around with find-junk-files. I ran it and the first time it deleted a .dll file that windows needed and totally KO'd my computer. It selected about 850 files and I did look 'em over before deleting but I missed that one. :(
 
I had some problems about a month ago with pop-ups and some other crazy stuff. For instance once I was on the net when suddenly that window pops up that ask something like " Are you sure you want to download *****.exe?". Before I could click on no, it started down loading. Then the pop-ups and stuff got worse. I tried updating my version of Adaware and down loaded Spybot Search & Destroy. They helped but the stuff kept regenarating itself. Then I found Microsoft® Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) .
I've had no problems since. And it's FREE.
