Hatband with a kick

G'day Moose

I assume that the hat band will eventually absorb sweat when worn over a period of time during hot weather.

Have you done any experiments to see what effects long term exposure to sweat will have on a used Mischmetal rod (ie one that has lost it's protective covering)?
