Hatchet and Axe Suggestions?

I'm looking into making a few axes and/or hatchets. Any suggestion on who to buy the blades from?

Looking at your name i would suggest the Norse hawk heads made by Cold steel.

you could always ask someone to forge the heads to your liking by a forger, but i think the Norse hawk is a great platform for experimenting .

I wouldn't feel bad been carried by the Valkyries with a such a hawk at my side. The battle axe did originate, or at least was used extensively by germanic tribes, even after the development of more modern weapons.

Killed warriors were buried with their battle axe at their side.

At 29.99 you can't beat it. Several people have cut off the hammer and trimmed the eye and ended up with a first class drop forged Viking style axe.
