• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

I found this hatchet at a garage sale for $1, looked like an Estwing, no handle and beat up bad, took about 2 lbs off of it by grinding and reshaping it and soldered a little guard on then rehandled it. It has an antler and purpleheart handle with zebra wood spacers. It's 3/16" at the back and weighs 1lb. 7oz.

That's amazing. Do you have any before pics for reference?

Thanks guys, no reference pictures, I just bought it to throw around but then I ran out of steel to make knives and started fooling with this and it turned into a project.
