Stock removal from 1/4 inch 80CRV2.
I have not had the hardness tested but the recipe says it will be about 59 Rc. A file skates on the edge so it will have to be sharpened with a stone not a file.
This is my first time using this steel and the heat treating in my Evenheat furnace was followed very carefully.
Convex grind finished to an almost mirror finish.
The flats were treated with cold blue giving it a Parkerized look. This will wear off with use blending it with a patina that will develop on the edge.
Black Micarta scales with brass liners, distal tapered under the handle.
Length from the top of the head to the butt is 12 3/4 inches
Cutting edge is approximately 3 3 1/4 inches.
Weight is one pound nine ounces.
Leather edge cover, no belt loop.

sold delivered within these United States. Please message me for shipping and payment options.
