Have a favorite piece (pieces) of gear?

Knowing my budget back then ( I was in the military) I don't think I payed more than $10.00. The knife in the middle is homemade so the total value of the knives is less than $30.00
That large knife has dug snow caves in Alaska, cut trails in California, built shelters in Argentina, I got it in the Philippines. Now how do you put a value on that.
