• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Have a peek, new stuff!

Thanks Mike, the wood is called Jmbuyen, Brazilian-Walnut. Grows mostly in the moist Araucaria forests of Parana and Santa Catharina in southern Brazil. Hard and heavy, fairly easy to work with, takes a very nice finish.

I'm sure someone will disagree with me, but I think it would be nice to have the back ridged on this piece, especially since you have the wood angled down, away from your thumb. Just my $0.02

Thomas,

You are right, It takes a very nice finish. I wish I had a set of grips for my 1911 that looked that good.

Beauties! Don't forget to bring your carving set, chef's knife and, if you have, bread knife. I'd love to see them. If they don't sell, at least we can feast in style
