Have any of you ever had your favorite knife mutilated by something?

That's a friendly reminder of what a dangerous machine the chipper can be. I'm sure you do but it makes me want to remind you to always be aware and stay safe my friend! ( I chopped the tip of my finger off on a jointer during a moment of stupidity, so I know these things can happen).

Years ago when I worked at Benchmade, a customer sent in an AFO that went through an industrial chipper. Somehow he had found every single piece. It sat out in the break room for months and occasionally someone would put the puzzle together 😁 I don’t think there was a single piece over 3/8in! The letter stated the knife killed all the blades on the chipper too. The company was cool about it and while it wasn’t a covered warranty issue, they did fix him up👍

True, but there wasn't anywhere near 35 ounces of milk chocolate in those four cookies. ROT, 1 per pound of MC to reach toxicity.
Sorry for off topic , but don't confuse LD50 levels in healthy subjects with toxicity for every subject . This can vary greatly .

Meh… It’s DARK chocolate that’s toxic to dogs.
I had a dog eat an entire case/flat of Costco chocolate muffins no problem.

No haven’t had a knife mangled by anything.
But here’s complimentary knife pic.

Not true. It is more toxic but all can be harmful. Not trying to be snarky.
