I got the top blade, in unused conditioned. just oggled it for a few days, and realized that the rat tail was way closer to what I wanted.
so now I'm looking for a prybar to match my custom slicers when they come. my ideal would be to get a killer bee/pbf 4", but I don't have that much extra money to offer in trade.
if you've got a ratmandu or a dumpster mutt in any condition you'd like to trade for a 2008 special edition (the slightly thicker kind, like the le's - just shy of 3/16") Hairy Carry - then let me know
the only thing I'm willing to part with that I have (knife wise) is a mora s-1 that has a slightly rippled edge in one part. I haven't used it, and I think it came that way from the factory to ragweed (where I bought it).
