Have the Strider folders with S30V blades started shipping yet?

A while Back Mick said the folder would be made with BG42 and S30V. Just wondering if they've made it out of the shop yet?
 
I'd like to know too.
Also, is the type of steel used always marked on the blade? In other words, will you be able to tell which steel your blade is made from?
 
How does S30V compare to BG42? Will all strider folders have S30V in the near future?
 
USUALLY,
blades are stamped w/ the type of steel.
Often times we fk it up though.
To date, all forlders have been made of BG42. If your blade is stamped ATS sorry.
We are still a little ways off on the S30V.

As I understand it the reason Striders aren't getting lots (any) of S30V out to the market is the following: they're working up their own numbers to really get the most of the material for the heat treat instead of just using those 'given'

You can bet when they start selling the S30V knives they'll be the best they can make them!

If it says Strider I don't give a "Tinkers Damn" what stamped on it. You hesitate I'll buy it out from under you.:D :D :D
