Have the urge for full serrations.

fully serrated MILi on of my favorite knifes , next to para SE , and civilian .

if you allready have lots of plain edge id give fully serrated a try BUT as others said its much better for sawing and cutting fiberous meterials and hopefully not ever but self defence id say its for ruffer harsher cutting tasks

I'v never found the need to saw with a sharp SE, if your sawing with your SE they NEED to be sharpened.

True! Today, I had to cut some cardboard for a cooler base, my SE Endura4 sliced better than my Vantage! Yeah, the smaller s-curved Spydercos get the most benefit from serrations. My cricket rips like a chainsaw!

Real talk!!! :D

If I can be honest for a second... A SE Cricket and a Alox Cadet would suit my EDC needs just fine.

Got any money? :D:D JK, I love my cricket! And my E4! I wish it was ZDP-189 though. The only thing I have to say about your videos, is if they were both FFG, or SG it would be even more obvious. I think the Endura. suffered a bit because of it! I love your videos! I hope you can get your sharpening video up!

Really? I think I sound like a drunk redneck... :D

Anyways it's hard to talk to yourself, it's not something I do often so it feels a little funny. Getting better with time, anyways thanks for the kind words :)

And you at right about the grinds

Hey, Hey, Hey.... dude... What's wrong with drunk rednecks? I find that insulting. Jk, you sound better than I would. I do talk to myself alot though, so maybe I would be good at it? I still think you're the only person I have found on youtube who really apreciates SE knives as EDC ctools. Thanks!

Well I saw your excellent vids and I subscribed imigently
Be safe.

Fully serrated are the only knives worth a damn in my line of work. The Spyderco Salt knives are top notch.

i'm a huge fan of PE. But if I were to go full SE, It would be a Salt series knife for sure. Always wanted to try H1 steel, and supposedly the serrations make the work hardened steel perform very well. Also, a hawkbill seems to utilize the SE very well. So I'd have to kill 3 birds with one stone and get a serrated, h1, hawkbill of my choice :p

Or possibly I'd just snag a Tenacious SE for cheap and see how I like it. Love my plain edge Tenacious.

If you own plain edge knives, by all means get a serrated Spyderco. Spyderco serrations are (in my experience) much better than the serrations of most other manufacturers, so I would get a Spyderco.

The Endura would be a great option. I own an older model, and it looks great with its SpyderEdge.

The Spyderco Tasman Salt is also an interesting option if you like hawkbills. A SpyderEdge on this knife makes a lot of sense. H1 performs better with serrations after prolonged cutting.
