I got to thinking while standing around the fueling station . . . a rare occurrence; any cognizant cerebral activity usually occurs well after quitting the station and usually after a significant period has elapsed on the bicycle riding to work.

. . . I knew I shouldn't have gotten all that sleep . . . and what have I DONE ! ! !
I unthinkingly added ESPRESSO to the mix ! ! ! Oh this isn't good ! ! !

This early brightening almost without fail signals disappointment and frustration to follow :(

Something about to day is different . . . hhhmmmm
after successfully completing a landing on the couch to consider the matter . . . I find myself at home on a Sunday . . . no need to go out into the world (the source of said chagrin) . . .
surrounded by my hobbies (read knives)
Well armed . . . (read camera and computer)
With a treats trolley within arms reach (fruit and espresso for breakfast).
AAAAAaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I may as well share my elation (and profound epiphany) . . .
;)
and that is . . .
there seems to be something missing in the world !
Has it been here all along and I just haven't run across it ? ? ? ?

Lets see your modified Buck 110s that have been modded to add texture and grip.

Knives with gription seem to be everywhere these days.
Maybe a textured 110 EDC will be my next quest !
Has this path been tread before ?
What treasure lies at the end of it ?

User27,

Well that's a start. Thanks !
My, they are proud of it though $200 plus.

A bit lighter to boot (no big brass / less metal in the trunk).
Now I got to decide if I want to keep the big brass. I think I do. I mean . . . that's all part of a "Real" 110 . . . right ?

Rifle grip filing the big brass ? Hmmmmmm

This 110LT is being released soon.

Story of my life . . . I've always ridden the edge of the latest and greatest trends.
It's a gift.
The paparazzi are an annoyance but I have learned to avoid them.
ha, ha, ha, ha

PS : Oh and thank you Rupestris.

Yeah, the light models have thermoplastic tough-as-hell grips that are sorta grippy (not G10 tho'). I like the heft of that traditional brass frame, however, and have never felt I needed more grip... maybe if I was gutting fish at the cannery all day I would.

That Loscha has features; a reversible pocket clip, G10 handles, 440C blade, thumb stud for one hand opening and bareheaded frame. DM

Does anyone have more info or a release date for that 110LT? I Googled it but can't seem to find anything for it.

The SHOT show wraps up on the 26th of this month. I wouldn't expect to see them on the shelves until the big unveiling of the new Buck's and Remington's at SHOT.

I will be picking up anew 110 LT once they are available locally. That being said, one of the reasons I love my C&C S30V 112 is that both the micarta scales and bolsters are slightly textured. The 110 version is next on my purchase list.

Thank you guys !
There's some great ones there to consider.
Wow . . . very modern blue and nickel and good old classic jigged bone.
Good to know.
