Ok, first things first.
My reasons for posting here are two fold.
One: I have a good number of production Titanium balisongs (BRS Alpha beasts 1's and 2.0's, Microtech Tach 2's, etc.) that I would like to begin to invesgigate modding or customizing.

Two: I have just received my first balisong "kit" and am curios as to what I might try myself or what it might cost in money/time to have something done.

The kit, in my mind, was bought to be designed/destined as a user. A Heavy user, and trainer, so with the kit, my thoughts would run more to practical and value oriented(if not downright cheap). Whereas these same services for the knives in my collection/ rotation would be more quality oriented.
In short: for the kit, it's all about price.-for my others, it's all about quality and aesthetics.(function is assumed-lol) but cost is much less of a factor as these knives are actually cared about. (For example: if I can find or come up with any old clip for the kit, I'll be happy.--but I am VERY SERIOUSLY looking for some pocketclips to be made (in Ti) for my Alpha beasts and Tach 2's!!!)

Anyhoo:

Bali kit. (Edit: it is the DogBite Ti Bali kit from 'usaknifemakers'.)
It has titanium handle slabs. I am beginning to look into what costs would be involved in sending to someone to have some work done.
So this would be for a single knife, not many. The project is value oriented so outlandish prices or mods are probably out of the question.

If there is anyone who wants to throw some prices,(rough or general) price quotes for these services, it would be appreciated:
-anodizing. (It would be four slabs for one knife.) and would want/prefer multiple colors/ pattern over a solid color- but one solid may also be an option if the multiple is costly.
-milling or shaping. (The holes for all screws/hardware are already drilled for this kit, however- I am speaking more of grip/texture, and aesthetics.
-Ti pocket clip--I would like to add a pocket clip to this knife, and I am sure the original distributor has aftermarket clips available and for sale for the kit, but if you have a cool design, or if you make Ti parts, please let me know. **this is in area that is of extreme interest to me as I have a few other nice production bali's that only come clip less, but I prefer a pocket clip, so I would be looking to do this to a good number of knives/bali's not just this kit knife.***

other possibilities or options I may be investigating:
-extra handle materials to be attached. (Wood/ stag/ bone/--I know even less of this area of the subject, so HOW to attach them would also be needed.-)
-tritium---I am fascinated with tritium. So anyone with some access to tritium vials, or ideas for how to incorporate tritium vials into the handles, please let me know what you have in mind and what it might cost.
If you sell vials only, please contact me with prices/ available colors and sizes.
If you sell vials and can offer milling or drilling to place them, then please contact.

If you have services to offer, please send price quotes for each or any service (of the above listed) that you offer if you are currently accepting work.

If you have ideas, or even if you have past experience building a Bali kit, feel free to email me if you have tips, links, ideas or anything you think may be helpful.

Thank you for reading,
