I've been watching Dave's vids for a while now and have purchased a few items from him. He's a good guy. Everyone has their own tastes and interests, but most of his info is pretty solid. I like the fact that he's more of a software guy (IE, skills and mindset) rather than a hardware guy who is looking for the latest and greatest gear.
As he has gained in popularity he has begun to test a bunch of that latest and greatest gear, and I don't really like the new direction he's going to. I guess if he's trying to make this a business opportunity that is his prerogative, but I do like a lot of his basic bushcraft knowledge.
