Have you ever "accidentally" cut something you're not suppose to?

Just wondering if you guys have ever "accidentally" cut something while playing with your folders. I'm kind of mad at myself but on the other hand, I'm like "wow!". I did this while opening and closing my Spyderco Manix 2. Dumb.

When I started learning to sharpen my knives, I cut open a package of tea bags. There was a little resistance, so I thought I had failed again. Then I realised that I had cut though the package and the contents :).

I've also cut my couch up a little when getting a bit overconfident in my balisong skills.

I cut open the plastic loops on a pack of Coke to get me one.

Unfortunately I sliced right through the bottle as well and it sprayed everywhere and made a sticky mess. That was the most annoying incident.

One time I was cutting open a box on the side of my bed and the knife slipped.... shanked my bed 3 inches deep. Luckily that was my old spring mattress and not my new memory foam one.

At work, pulled out my sage 1to cut some tape off the box, something took control of me and went straight into my finger, nothing to deep but was like "wuhhhhhhh?" now I look before i cut instead of rushing into things:)

I put two vents into my thumb with a new Buck Paklite 143 when i got it just trying to get used to carrying a fixed blade. Only knife that's ever got me.

Thank the Lord for super glue.

wow that sucks. i once cut a bed sheet. what sucks is it was a 100 sheet set.

I feel ya. I just counted how many holes/slits I have on my comforter on my bed. There's like 4. It's no use changing it out to a new one because it's not gonna stop me from "playing" with my folders. I'll just sit on my chair next to my bed watching TV, smoking a cigarette, playing with my folders. Open, close, open, close...., drop...oops! Open, close, open, close. I swear it's addictive.

Damn! Why did you have to bring that up. It's taken me months to get over cutting my leather recliner. Now It's all coming back. I'm heading out for a case of Steel Reserve 40's. Thanks bro.

I cut through a strap on a leather sheath once by opening the package. Stupid mistake that was all my fault.

Sorry bro. Just thought we could all share the pain. ;)

I was dicing some onions and my knife slipped and cut my hand. Luckily, the blood didn't get on any of the food. Also had a few incidents with my balisong, but nothing big. Most of the time, when I have accidents with my knives, it's usually just me slipping up and dropping it on the floor.

I just remembered I did this last week also. I decided to try the "poor man's" wave mod with the zip tie. I was carrying my lunch cooler on my right side and decided to try and wave my Spyderco Tenacious from my right pocket and that damned lunch cooler bag was in the way and ended up getting slashed. Dumb cooler bag!

lol yes XD i cut tons of stuff on accident... I went through a jacket on accident, through a bed sheet, belt, myself, table etc. just lets you know you got a sharp good knife

That is a real bummer. I've cut into my finger, a very close call to a 50 pair phone cable, cat6 cables, and other stuff. Luckily, they were all repairable and the damage to the digit wasn't too bad.

At least it works right?

Hee hee hee, I stabbed myself a while back, but when I took the bandage off today I realized it had gone completely through my thumb since there was also a smaller "exit wound". :D
