Have you ever bought because of the maker

Hard to fault Mr Dozier, he's pretty set in his ways, from the videos I've seen of interviews at knife shows, he doesn't muck about much if at all or the videos of his workshop. Definitely a no nonsense kind of person !

Only one, Michael Zeiba. I've met and bought from him twice, so when I saw Knife Center had his slipjoint in stock, I asked Santa to get it for me and she did :)

I won't buy from jackasses, that's bad Karma, so at shows the maker and the knife enter into my decision. On the used knife market, you buy the knife...unless you already know the maker like with Bark River :)
