Have you ever BWD?!

I am guilty of BWD. "Bladeforum'ing while drunk" has happened a few times to me (3 times in total). This usually happens after having family or friends over, indulging in my fair share of bourbon and/or beer, and then when everyone leaves I decide to peruse the "for sale" section, picking up a knife I've been lusting after but could never bring myself to buy. Ive always followed through with my purchases though, endevaouring to be a man of my word.

This time however, it's a happy ending. I picked up a knife I've been looking at for some time, and I couldn't be happier. To be honest when I woke up the next morning I felt a little guilty, on top of having a huge headache. But when this knife arrived I was pleasantly surprised, and it has since become my new EDC. So I guess my question is, am I alone in this? Or have others been guilty of "BWD"? If you have been what's been the outcome?

I stopped drinking a while back in an effort to further my fitness goals, but, prior to that, I've had to make more than one emergency "Comeuppance got drunk" sales here and elsewhere so I could, you know, pay rent and stuff.

I'm pretty cautious and entirely sober these days when making purchases. I only herbally enhance myself at night immediately prior to bed, so I'm generally safe from myself as far as unwise knife purchases go.

Although, with how much of an itch it is and how hard it is to avoid scratching it, I may end up ordering a Kershaw Launch 1 in some variety of weakened altered state.

I've looked, and participated, after having a drink or two...but I've never made a purchase "because I was drunk". Because I was too tired to care? Well that's a different story.

I don't have more than about one beer every month...so NO.
But I do take Ambien every nite, and I'm usually on this forum until about 2 a.m., at which point I am completely devoid of logic. Not that I'm much better earlier...
I've been lucky so far...

Just get yourself a landlady that's been single too long and pay rent in "other" ways. Or just go for a full on sugar mama. Then go ahead and order your launch 1. I've got the launch 2 and really enjoy it. Might pick up the launch 1 too. I do quite like the knockout.
