man over the years i have owned many Leatherman's and carried the Wave for years and thought this was the one and only for me but a few weeks ago picked me up the Surge--this i think is the one and only for me now
fit and finish are excellent--love the large blades and full size of the tool--this will be my EDC for years to come--:D

I loves me some Leatherman Tools!

I am a Tti Charge guy, but who cares as long as we are all on the same team!

I really like my Surge, but the fit and finish were sub par. The jaws would stick and the little springs that hold the small and regular bit in popped out. When I asked for replacement i was told that I would ahve to send it in.

I use my tools every day, so I bought a replacement SOG Powerlock to hold me over until I got my Surge back. I liked the PL so much I forgot to send in the Surge and there it sits in my drawer.

I might send it back sooner or later, I was just really disappointed that LM couldn't send me two little springs that obviously easily come out:rolleyes:

To their credit, it looks like they have fixed the issue of the bit holder at least on the Skeletool. No goofy tiny springs there. Great tool:)

I've got three Leatherman tools. A Tti Charge in my center console, a Juice Xe6 in my school backpack (I am an adult part time college man), and a Blast in my hunting pack. Keep all in the sheaths. I've also bought my father a Kick and then a Wave recently. They are great little tools which are good to have around in a pinch. I wouldn't say I like any one better than the other as I don't use them with any degree of frequency. I have not handled any other company's tools. The Victorinox MTs look pretty cool but I don't need another MT. -DT

Two years ago i bought a Fuse.Yeah,i love it.It has everything i need, looks pretty well,is light and strong. It´s my main-edc.Realy great!! For me the perfect tool.

I bounce between the Charge and the Wave ....I try to divide myself equally among my Leatherman children:D

also to add, I wear the crunch from time to time. There's just something about those lock grips.

I started with a Wave many moons ago and carried it for a long time. A few years back I bought a Surge. Recently I switched over to a Charge AL which I like a lot.

The Wave has been my go to MT for the past few years. I've never been able to get myself to gather the dough for a Charge, as much as I'd like one. I keep wanting regular folders or fixed blades so I can't justify getting any other MT, especially since the Wave has just done an awesome job.

Got a Ti Charge, cant complain and it gets used a fair bit on the farm. Have been looking at the Surge though....

The Leatherman knifeless fuse is my favorite edc multitool from Leatherman. Its light and comes with a good selection of tools. The lack of knifeblade means i can carry it anywhere without worrying if its legal or not.

Well I don't think that I have found the perfect one, I keep buying the new ones as they come out in hopes of the perfect one. I think the Core and ST300 are close but both lack in a few areas, I still like them and carry one or the other and overall they are my tools of choice.

I found the perfect Leatherman , the Vic. Spirit , what Leatherman should have been , but never was .

10 year old Leatherman Wave still going strong.

i feel no need to get another multi-tool while my current one is perfectly serviceable.

I find the PULSE is the ideal every day carry MT...... for me anyway.

Locking tools, great scissors, not too heavy.

Pity they no longer make it.

My favorite and most used multitool is the Surge too. I wouldn't call it perfect but it is pretty darn good. As of now the only multitools I own are a Leatherman Surge, a Leatherman Supertool (it was my grandfathers, I don't use it), and a Schrade Tough Tool (it was a gift to me, I don't use it). However, I have owned a:

Leatherman:
Micra
Core
Charge tti
Kick
Juice s2

Victorinox:
Swisstool RS
Spirit

SOG:
PowerAssist

and have sold or given away all of them because I felt that the Surge was superior than the others.

I really like my Leatherman Kick paired up with a sak. Usually a huntsman or supertinker but I have alot of saks to choose from and they all see at least a little pocket time. My wife thinks there is something wrong with me.
