Great tutorial!

I am a little fuzzy as well on the v-groove thing. I have a router attachment for my dremel. So is this just a matter of chucking these special burrs into the dremel and "routing" a groove on the inside of the ring shape in the arrowhead?
 
Crayola, i used hand tools,but the arrowhead could have been done with a metal cutting bandsaw and a milling machine,etc. cutting the "V" channel does not require the use of the router attachment to the dremel. and it is just as simple as you are thinking with the 45degree burr. if it were a round burr you would have serious problems controlling the cut as it would want to slip out.

You mentioned hand tools, is there some kind of non-powered tool that could be used to cut this groove?
