I got this Horton from Jeremy at Blade last year and finally got around to putting a micarta handle on it. The micarta is unusual because it has the end grain on the sides (turned 90 deg from normal), I like the way it turned out. Since the knife has a long handle, I added a thumb ramp for when you hold on the back and can use the notches on top when you hold it more forward. I then re-bluded the whole knife.

Original knife as I received it:

Oh man that looks so awesome, I love the belly you put on the handle and it lines up perfectly with the original design, bet it's cumfy too
great job
I'm going to go handle mine for a while

Great job Tim!!! Made a one piece scale sleeve like the Germans did some of there bayonets of WW1. Cool...

edited to add: Did you use any epoxy in addition to the tube fasteners?

I always use a sealant on the handles, not to make them stay on (although I'm sure it helps some), but rather to seal moisture from getting in under them preventing corrosion.

:D
