Have you seen the Bussmuk?

Tknife,

I saw that this morning. I think that Busse is going to produce a hand axe too...

What the dimensions of Bus-muk?

I'm not sure, it just shows the proto pic. Hopefully more details come soon.

If they square off the spine toward tip, and as you said Thayne, keep the thickness reasonable. It would be Great.

It might get some of the, "tactical", for lack of a better word, folks looking into more basic knives for outdoor use.

It's still not my kind of knife, but I do like the idea of a Nessie with INFI.:cool:

It looks great so far. I do hope this one is thin. We should know prices soon. Think low. Fingers crossed. ;)

I like it, its a new take on a nussmuk without being too out there. I don't know why but I like the hole in the choil, every time I see a Busse it grows on me. Have to agree with pitdogn though, shame I prolly wont get one.

We will have to wait for the Scrapyard version, bro !!!!:D:thumbup:

I really like it, I hope its not too thick and I am really looking forward to giving it a try.

I remember the first time I gave a hundred dollars for a knife (Benchmade folder). It was a long time ago and I thought that was insane. Lots of hundreds have come and gone since then. When I hear folks say something is out of their price range, I think a lot of times it depends on your priorities. I do realize that there are some folks that 2-300 dollars is seriously a lot of money to spend on something that you dont actually "need". However, for many, if you want one or two knives to carry with you when you go out into the woods, you may be able to afford to pay a pretty penny for them. If you want a couple of dozen to have around for this and that, you may not want to spend that kinda jack on them. I think it is better to have less in number but better quality gear. If we were really honest about it, a couple of well chosen, well made knives would do most anything that we ever needed to do and with the materials available today, we could probably hand them down after we are gone. Why not carry whatever you feel is the best? I may try one of those Busse Nessie's (I hope they are thin too) but I have come close on many occasions to having Koster send me one too! So far I have resisted but he just keeps posting those pictures.

The handle looks like it's the Active Duty model handle. Handle is about 4" long give or take on the regular Active Duties...

somehow the blade profile rings closer to the canadian belt knife for me, but it sure looks like a nice knife regardless.

with a reasonably thin blade, i think that the infi could perform really awesome based on the science and some of the testing i have read (noss's destruction tests come to mind)

it looks like it would be a great woods blade.
