Have you wasted your money on a production knife that turned out to be junk?

Mine was the Meyerco Speedster( I think that was the name).Blackie Collins designed and looked good in the catalog. It arrived dull and the action was very tight. The thunb hole almost cut into the flesh when opening and I never liked the way the handle felt in my hand. I gave the knife to a friends son who is developing an interest in knives. He likes the fact that it has an ATS 34 blade.
